Our Mission

Vashon Granny’s Attic is a non-profit 501c(3) organization that contributes to the health and well-being of Vashon Island residents by supporting other organizations focused on healthcare, food security and wellness through our grant programs.

Giving Back to Vashon

We operate a second hand goods, vintage thrift store. Profits generated from store sales are then granted to other Vashon Island nonprofits.

So far, in 2023, Granny’s has donated:

  • $72,559 to Vashon Youth & Family Services (VYFS)

  • $4,000 to Vashon Scholarship Fund

  • $12,261 to Vashon Care Network

  • $25,868 to the Interfaith Council to Prevent Homelessness (IFCH)

  • $40,846 to the Vashon Senior Center

  • $6,214 to Vashon Island Grower’s Association (VIGA)

  • $31,767 to the DOVE Project

  • $23,772 to the Vashon-Maury Community Food Bank

  • $16,996 to Vashon Midwifery

  • $4,700 to St. Vincent DePaul

  • $5,391 to VARSA

  • $2,500 to the Yates Foundation

  • $8,231 to One Village
