Our Mission
Vashon Granny’s Attic is a non-profit 501c(3) organization that contributes to the health and well-being of Vashon Island residents by supporting other organizations focused on healthcare, food security and wellness through our grant programs.
Giving Back to Vashon
We operate a second hand goods, vintage thrift store. Profits generated from store sales are then granted to other Vashon Island nonprofits.
In 2023, Granny’s Attic donated:
- $72,559 to Vashon Youth & Family Services (VYFS) 
- $4,000 to Vashon Scholarship Fund 
- $12,261 to Vashon Care Network 
- $25,868 to the Interfaith Council to Prevent Homelessness (IFCH) 
- $40,846 to the Vashon Senior Center 
- $6,214 to Vashon Island Grower’s Association (VIGA) 
- $31,767 to the DOVE Project 
- $23,772 to the Vashon-Maury Community Food Bank 
- $16,996 to Vashon Midwifery 
- $4,700 to St. Vincent DePaul 
- $5,391 to VARSA 
- $2,500 to the Yates Foundation 
- $8,231 to One Village
