Community Impact

In 2022, Granny’s Attic gave over $239,000 in grants to organizations on Vashon Island. Thus far, in 2023, we’ve given over $250,000.

  • Vashon-Maury Food Bank

    The mission of the Vashon-Maury Food Bank is to work in partnership with our community to increase our island’s food security and connect people to the supporting resources they need to thrive.

  • Vashon Youth & Family Services

    The mission of Vashon Youth and Family Services is to foster a thriving community of emotionally healthy and resilient children, youth, adults, and families, while prioritizing Vashon’s most vulnerable populations.

  • Interfaith Council to Prevent Homelessness

    The mission of the Interfaith Council to Prevent Homelessness (IFCH) is to identify and respond to the needs of those who either are homeless or are at risk of becoming homeless.

  • Vashon-Maury Senior Center

    The mission of the Vashon-Maury Senior Center is to enrich the lives of older adults: offering a wealth of resources for seniors, ranging from recreation, health and wellness, education and social service programs.

  • Vashon Midwifery

    The Vashon Midwifery organization understands that by nurturing birthing parents, they encourage healthy and empowered families, which supports thriving communities, and all of humanity.

  • The DOVE Project

    The DOVE Project is a domestic violence and sexual assault agency that provides survivor services, prevention education and community programming in an effort to reduce interpersonal harm.

  • Vashon Grower's Assoc.

    The Vashon Island Growers Association (VIGA) promotes growing, farming, and food production on Vashon Maury Island, while working to build a local agricultural economy that is equitable, accessible, and sustainable.

  • Vashon Care Network

    The Vashon Care Network aims to connect people on Vashon with the services, supplies, and support required to live at home independently, offering free medical supplies and information.
